This Christmas season a few really nice people have told me they know deployment is as hard on the families as the soldiers. But really it's not. We get a decent night's sleep every night. Our bathrooms are a step away, not down a cold, dark street. My food is fresh and tasty, every single day. No rockets here. Just lots of support instead.
Still, I couldn't help but tear up a little at this sweet PSA shared by my friend Libby. If you know people in the military or working with the military, remember them this Christmas by sending an email or FB greeting. It will mean the world to them--and to their families too.
